The 4 cornerstones and the pyramid relationship that I have with my clients
What did you enjoy most?
From an operations side, the 4 cornerstones of Success. Attitude, Personal Accountability, Perseverance and creating great habits. Where we stand with our client/clients on the relationship pyramid and why it is important to be in good standing with multiple key players and not just one. How to overcome objections and how to ask the right answers to keep everything moving along.

Michael was wonderful. Great presenter, was able to keep everyone's attention for an 8 hour session. I likes the inspirational videos, that always gets people pumped up. Over all well done and happy with the outcome.
What did you enjoy most?
As the owner, I realized how much I was really missing from our process when it came to scripts. Really qualifying the pipeline in an effective way. Handling and overcoming objections. A great reminder to think through, what is the client trying to solve and how can we be helpful. When we show them the value and how we can take their pain away, it makes us the only choice :) I also loved managing to agreements, take the emotion out of it. Lastly, the role planning and scripting planning is so critical and making sure we make time for that.

It was fun, Mike and Joel are great "coaches". If we were falling off track a bit or not quite getting the right answer, they immediately jumped in to get us on track, not wasting any time, and allowing us to then respond accurately and timely as well. They are both excellent trainers and the coach mentality vs. just "teaching" made all the difference.
What did you enjoy most?
Always win the play. Don't get caught up in the big picture all at once, just win each play each time and it will all come together. How to leave effective voicemails and emails, effective communication period to bring the sale further along and grab the attention of the prospect.

The interaction with the team from Butler Street as well as our group . . . I have been through a number of sales training programs over my career, but this was the first in which other departments other than sales were involved.
What did you enjoy most?
Rethink strategy and approach to a customer. Understanding the customer's buying/decision process as well as focusing your strategy on SIGNS. My favorite was the Relationship Pyramid (RP) have known relationship is important, but like the concept of the RP and the focus not just on the decision maker(s) but also key influencers.

Overcoming Objections
What did you enjoy most?
I love the Four Cornerstones!! Great way to start a Sales Training class; building blocks for everyone, no mater what your title is. The overcoming objections section was awesome; as a new rep at HD I am prospecting a lot and I hear so many of these every day. The Social Media section was very helpful and I can see that I have a long way to go before I am completely proficient. The goal is set! The Call Planning worksheet offers some much needed structure and I look forward to using the Effective Bill Rate Calculator.

Getting to hear best practices and ideas from so many different sales resources from CEOs to BDMs. Pretty powerful to be in a room full of people trying to get better.
What did you enjoy most?
The biggest thing I learned was asking the tough questions to really get into the customers operating reality. Just because I made a connection and asked some good questions does not mean I will be their only choice. When I really ask the tough questions that is where I can help to create gap and distance myself from the competition.
