Joel and Mary Ann (and Austin for that matter) were so engaging, charismatic, and down-to-earth. They presented their material in easy-to-understand terms, kept the team attentive, and felt warm and consultative instead of cold and condescending. There was so much to learn, but it was given to us in an accessible way to absorb and use practically. Most importantly, though, is the unique information and insight that was taught to us that will unequivocally position us to be more successful than our competition.

What did you enjoy most?

The importance of the 4 Cornerstones in all that we do as sales professionals. It's the foundation of everything. Win YOUR play. Do YOUR part. Every interaction with clients, candidates, etc, is another chance to win. Active listening is one of the most imperative skills a sales professional can have and one I personally, and we as a team, need to improve upon significantly. Objections are merely a request for more information (in the book and reinforced in the training). Don't avoid them, leverage them as an opportunity to advance things. Prescription before diagnosis = malpractice. As a word nerd, this is beautiful and will be implemented into regular rotation. Talk about actual differentiators, not ambiguous or nebulous concepts that anyone can use. Fill-rate, retention-rate, awards we've won are just a few of ours. There's so much more, but these are some of the key takeaways that are top of mind.

It was engaging. I like that it wasn't just PowerPoint presentations, but there were activities that put the knowledge to use and challenged us.

What did you enjoy most?

Where do I start…One of my objectives from the training was to become more effective at overcoming objections, which I hope to become with the help of LEAR. Learning to work within our clients/candidates operating reality was eye-opening. This is something I always strived for but wasn't necessarily 100% committed to it. With the help of the training and some of those worksheets, I look forward to developing my active listening skills and working within our client and candidates operating reality.

The pace was good. Instructor kept it interesting, and got everybody involved.

What did you enjoy most?

What I took away from the training was how to prepare for meetings with customer better. The pre-call planner is a great idea. I have been using one that I made up but the one covered in class is more detailed. I learned some ways to over come objections on sales calls. I learned better ways to follow up on customer calls.
